Mid-to-Long-Term Goals
SK Hynix has establihed mid-to-long-term goals for each area of the environment safety and health to reflect therm in the ESH roadmap for implementation. The steering committee and the subcommittee for each area also began active operations by forming a TFT to attain the goal.

SK Hynix introduced a management system conforming to ISOP14001/OHSAS18001 in order to reorganize the corporate administration system ensuring systematic control of the operations, so that the environmental impact resulting from business operation and factors affecting safety and health can be effectively controlled.

ISO14001
Certification of ISO1400 was obtained for the environmental management system in 1996, and certification of OHSAS18001/KOSHA2000 for the safety and health management system in 2000. In 2001 environmental, safety and health management systems were combined for more efficient management, and then accredited by TUV, an accreditation institution, confirming its effectiveness.
In 2005 certification conversion evaluation was conducted to conform to ISO14001:2004, as part of our continuously strengthened efforts to reverify the validity of the ESH management system while making it more efficient. In September, 2006, Woosi factory in China obtained ISO14001 certification, leading to the reinforcement of the products manufactured therein while satisfying the customer's environmental needs and raising the product's competitiveness.
The entire executives and staff members of SK Hynix endeavor to reduce the impact of the environmental and safety aspects. Also, in addition to observing the ESH laws and regulations, efforts are being made continuously to reduce the impact of the environmental, safety and health aspects arising from the business operation such as R&D, procurement, storage, production, assembly, transportation and distribution
