History of Computer Games

How do you use your computer?

We can do many thing with computer; such as web browsing, E-MAIL, watch funny videos, prepare presentation material, and shop on-line.
But there other things one can do with a computer.

Of course, this quality of gaming requires high end graphics memory and processing power.

But like everything else, Computer games had its own humble beginnings.
Let¡¯s look at the timeline of computer games since the 80s¡¯
Games above were released from 1982~1984.
80s¡¯ was era of simple game. Of course, it looks simple compared to the present, but at that time, these simple games were quite impressive when we played it for the first time.
In addition, from late 80s¡¯ to early 90s¡¯, many game titles were released.
Some titles such, which became masterpieces. ¡°LOOM¡± and ¡°Monkey Ireland¡± were so special that almost every kids wanted to play it. And there were many more attractive titles.

In early 90s¡¯, the advent of Microsoft Windows 95 & 98 opened a new world. Computers became full fledged ¡°Game Machines¡±. Games on CD-ROM, supporting DirectX brought you more colorful and realistic graphics.
Since 90s, on-line games became available over the internet. Instead of CD, the new DVD media became popular . The capacity of games is over ¡°Gigabyte¡± and the graphics is more real world. Compared to a decade ago, the ¡°Biggest¡± change is ¡°Connecting to the World¡±.


Currently, computer games are colorful and sensational. There are numerous games in the world today, but the ones that are excellent, so called ¡°Masterpieces¡± are very few.
¡®Masterpieces¡¯ differentiate themselves by their unique ideas and features.
In other words, some small differences and creative thinking can give rise to stupendous results in gaming.

Innovation of this type takes place continuously, giving you rich entertainment on your computer.

Today may not be an ordinary day, as some new idea or innovation somewhere in the world is taking shape. This innovation may be yet another source of convenience or entertainment that you can enjoy on your computer.
